Advanced Technology for you and your family
Going to a dentist you can trust—one with experience in advanced technology to provide you and your family with a level of care that exceeds your expectations—can make all the difference in the world.
CEREC / One-Day Crowns
CEREC is an advanced dental technology that is utilized for the restoration of decayed, cracked, or chipped teeth. The CEREC machine crafts a restoration made of compressed porcelain in a matter of minutes, including full crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers. The most beneficial feature of a CEREC restoration is that it is accomplished in one visit. In addition, there is no uncomfortable impression material to bite on, or temporary to wear.
There are often cavities that x-rays and the explorer do not find. Diagnodent’s advanced technology helps to preserve a greater amount of your tooth structure by uncovering dental decay before it progresses too far.
Diagnodent works using a fluorescent laser that finds cavities which lie beneath the surface of the tooth, helping to detect dental cavities at the earliest possible stage so that the most appropriate treatment can be presented to you.
Electric Hand Pieces
Electric hand pieces are much stronger than standard air-driven hand pieces, due to the fact that a motor is spinning the bur as opposed to air. This allows the doctor to remove decay at a faster pace, cutting down on the time it takes to complete a procedure.
The intraoral camera is an amazing diagnostic tool for viewing different angles in the mouth that we would not have been able to just a few years ago. The camera allows us to view the entire mouth on a monitor so that we can get a closer look at any potential issues or problems that may arise. In addition, the patient will have the ability to see the same images we are seeing. These digital images are also excellent for gaining procedure acceptance from insurance companies.
